On Wednesday, 26 August 2026, starting at 5:00 p.m., the Goethe Run for RMU employees will take place on the Ginnheim Campus. The 5.8-kilometer after-work run connects the two campuses, Ginnheim and Westend. This year, there is also an optional 11.6-kilometer route through Nidda Park. And for the first time ever, an RMU team will be at the starting line this year!

It pays to be quick: 
If you are among the first 50 RMU members to register, you won't have to pay the 15-euro entry fee, and you will also receive a free RMU running shirt! The next 20 runners who register for the RMU team after the first 50 will also receive a free RMU running shirt and only have to pay the entry fee yourself.

The kids' race starts at 5:00 p.m. at the Sportcampus in Ginnheim (Ginnheimer Landstr. 39, 60487 Frankfurt). Around 5:45 p.m., the President of Goethe University will officially welcome the runners, followed by a group warm-up, so that the gun for the 5.8 km and 11.6 km races can go off right on time at 6:00 p.m.

After the race, music, food, and drinks will await the runners at the Sportcampus in Ginnheim. Around 8:00 p.m., the fastest runner as well as the largest and the fastest team will be honored. Don’t forget: There is also a great prize for the team with the best outfits. Afterwards, you can look forward to an entertaining program featuring various acts from university sports.
