Description
The digitisation of research opens up interesting possibilities – but also raises pressing ethical questions. From data collection to AI-supported analysis, researchers must grapple with issues such as data protection, autonomy, fairness and transparency.
In this workshop, we take a practical approach: together, we explore the values that matter in data-driven research and how to deal with challenges such as datafication, algorithms and access management.
You will learn about practical tools such as the Ethical Data Management Plan, the FAIR/CARE principles and the Data Ethics Canvas. No prior knowledge is required.
