Close collaboration and intensive exchange are fundamental to academic excellence. RMU sees itself as a driving force for interaction at multiple levels: between the three universities, within the region, with society and industry, and on the international stage.

The Frankfurt Rhine-Main science region is shaped by cooperation and exchange among universities, non-university research institutions, research-driven industry, and international organizations and cultural institutions that rely on research. RMU aims to act as a catalyst in dynamically developing Rhine-Main as an integrated science region.

To this end, RMU has expanded the diverse science communication formats of its partner universities across the entire alliance and has developed new joint initiatives.

University-wide coordination of formats and content

Many synergies have already been initiated, particularly in the area of digital communication. Video productions, the use of shared image databases, newsletters, and specific RMU storytelling enable a modern, target group-specific approach. The communications departments of the three institutions coordinate closely, and joint topic planning is currently being developed.

In addition to the general public, RMU communications also focus on political stakeholders and specialist audiences. Events such as the “RMU Science Breakfast” or the joint RMU Open Campus Days and student laboratories create broad visibility.
