LAUNCH Rhein-Main
A visionary startup incubator for founders in the Rhine-Main Region
LAUNCH Rhein-Main is a student-run startup incubator that guides and supports students and postdocs on their journey to founding a business. With its interdisciplinary approach, LAUNCH offers a platform where business ideas can be refined and transformed into viable startups. Through workshops, mentoring, and strong partnerships, the program not only imparts practical know-how, but also opens doors to networks in academia and industry. The goal is to strengthen regional entrepreneurship and establish the Rhine-Main region as an innovation hotspot.
Offers & Program
To achieve this goal, LAUNCH Rhein-Main offers a diverse program: In a ten-week accelerator—the Winter Batch—aspiring founders receive individualized mentoring and access to a strong network of investors, experts, and other founders. In addition, the Summer Labs offer participants idea competitions, specialized workshops, and co-founder matchmaking to form new project teams and further develop fresh ideas. Other events, such as networking meetings and specialized workshops, create additional opportunities to bring together universities, startups, and investors, thereby strengthening the spirit of innovation in the region.
A great recognition: The 2025 Metropolitan Region Prize
For this commitment, LAUNCH Rhein-Main was awarded the FrankfurtRheinMain 2025 Metropolitan Region Award at the “Metropolitan Region Day.” The jury and the audience particularly praised the initiative’s innovative spirit, its sustainable impact on the region, and its strong sense of community. The award is not only recognition of the work done so far but also motivation to further expand the program and support more startups in the Rhine-Main region.
What’s ahead?
With a diverse program of workshops, mentoring, specialized formats for idea development, and networking, LAUNCH Rhein-Main aims to continue increasing the number of startups it supports in the future, generate new momentum in the region, and thereby sustainably strengthen the visibility of the Rhine-Main universities as a leading hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.
