We will look at the basics of text and argument mining, as well as modern literature research using LLMs and RAG. The ‘ULB Argument Search Engine’ from the University and State Library of Darmstadt (https://ulb-da.summetix.com/) will be used as an example project.

The aim of the course is to teach technical fundamentals and illustrate practical applications in university library practice.
