RMU Awards: Call for applications 2026

In 2026, the Rhine-Main Universities (RMU) will present the RMU Awards for the second time in two of their research focus areas.
The following two RMU Awards will be presented: the RMU Award in the profile area Health for “Pharmaceutical Research & Innovative Medical Therapies” of Frankfurt Foundation Quality of Medicines and the Sibylle Kalkhof-Rose RMU Award in the profile area Society for the Humanities and Social Sciences.
Applications for the RMU Award for Pharmaceutical Research & Innovative Medical Therapies, sponsored by the Frankfurt Foundation Quality of Medicine, are open until 15 August 2026. Early Career Researchers (R2/R3) are invited to apply. See the call for application below for further information.
For the Sibylle Kalkhof-Rose RMU Award for the Humanities and Social Sciences, deans of the humanities and social sciences faculties of the Rhine-Main Universities are invited to submit nominations by 1 August 2026.

The RMU Awards ceremony will take place on 20 October 2026 at Goethe University Frankfurt.
