Description

Artificial intelligence is increasingly changing the way we conduct research, generate knowledge, and make decisions. But AI is not neutral: data, technical systems, and their use are embedded in societal power structures and can reproduce existing inequalities.

This lecture examines AI from an intersectional-feminist and sociotechnical perspective and explores the potential implications of its use for equal opportunity in research and academia. Which perspectives become visible—and which are missing? Where do new risks to participation and justice arise? And how can researchers and institutions consciously use and design AI in ways that create new perspectives and opportunities for action?

A thought-provoking presentation that raises questions and opens the space for critical reflection and joint discussion on a responsible and equitable approach to AI in academia.
