The alliance of the Rhine-Main Universities strives to make its website and mobile applications accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Hessian Equal Opportunities for Disabled Persons Act (HessBGG) and the Hessian Ordinance on Accessible Information Technology (HVBIT), implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
This accessibility statement applies to the website at https://www.rhein-main-universitaeten.de/ as well as https://www.rhein-main-universitaeten.de/en. It does not cover additional pages hosted outside the alliance's central content management systems.
Current compatibility with requirements
The website is currently partially compatible with the Hessian Ordinance on Accessible Information Engineering – BITV HE 2019.
Explanation
The Alliance of Rhine-Main Universities is currently undergoing an extensive website relaunch, which has not been completed yet and in the course of which design adjustments are being made to improve accessibility.

- Color contrasts will be adjusted in isolated design elements

- Weak color contrast of the active markings in the main navigation (font/background)
