More than 30 scientific collections belonging to the Senckenberg Society for Nature Research are located in Frankfurt am Main. These include zoological, botanical, and paleontological/geological collections. Some of the collections have close historical ties to Goethe University, while others are currently involved in research and teaching at Goethe University through the custodians who curate them.
Here we introduce the crustacean collection on behalf of the zoological collections, which has close ties to Goethe University, both in the past with Prof. Türkay and today with Prof. Angelika Brandt and Dr. Torben Riehl.
