How do I handle research data correctly? Which digital tools support study and research? And what options are there for making research results openly accessible? 

The Winter School 2026 aims to offer a compact introduction to topics related to research data management, digital humanities and open access. 

Workshops and practical exercises range from data organisation, anonymisation, digital ethics and legal issues to tools such as OpenRefine and GitLab, as well as first steps in coding with Python and AI, AI-supported literature research and alternative forms of publication. 

The Winter School will take place online via Zoom from 23 to 26 February 2026.
