The Rhine-Main Universities alliance (RMU) invites students to enjoy a free waffle! On 16 February 2026, from 1:00 pm and as long as supplies last, students can collect freshly backed Belgian waffles in the Bistro Stadtmitte in Darmstadt.

The president of TU Darmstadt, Prof. Dr. Tanja Brühl, is on-site to distribute the delicious baked goods in person and will hand out waffles for free upon presentation of a student ID.

There will also be a booth with information on the RMU Study Program where students can speak to experts and ask them everything they want to know about the three partner universities’ joint study offer.
