Description

Description:

The high level of complexity and division of labor at universities repeatedly leads to existing knowledge being lost and synergies within the institution remaining untapped. The handover to successors or deputies is often accompanied by a loss of knowledge and skills. And this effect is further exacerbated by fixed-term employment contracts. Despite all its pitfalls, knowledge management offers the opportunity to identify, secure, and transfer relevant knowledge.

Benefit:

  • Methodological knowledge for structuring one's own fields of activity
  • More efficient substitutions and less follow-up work after absence
  • Ensuring the continuation of one's own work after leaving the organizational unit

Contents:

  • Fundamentals of knowledge management and its significance in a university context
  • Structuring and processing knowledge
  • Methods of knowledge documentation and transfer
  • Conceptual approach and success factors in the implementation of knowledge management

Dates:

  • 22 October 2026, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • 26 November 2026, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
