Description
ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is a globally recognised personal identifier that enables research results to be clearly attributed to a specific person. The ORCID is permanent, even if a person changes their name or institution.
The established standard is already used by many players in the scientific community, such as funding organisations, publishers and repositories. In this event, we will show you what the ORCID is, what advantages it offers and how you can link the ORCID to the Gutenberg Research Elements research information system.
