This event is part of the RMU Postdoc Career Weeks 2026
You will be given a brief overview of funding opportunities for junior group leaders. The main funding programs will be compared, and their specific features will be discussed.
We will also hear testimonials from postdocs about their experiences with the funding programs presented.

Speaker:
Dr. Moritz Mann is part of the JGU team “Excellence Strategy” and advisor at JGU’s Researcher Services Office for STEM and Life Sciences. He studied Chemistry and earned his PhD in analytical chemistry. After working in industry for a few years, he did a Postdoc and then switched to project coordination in JGU’s Top-level Research Area SusInnoScience.
Target group: Early Career Researchers (R1, R2, R3) from TU Darmstadt, JGU Mainz and GU Frankfurt.
