Description
This event is part of the RMU Postdoc Career Weeks 2026
Have you come across „DMP“ and „RDMO“ being mentioned, but are unsure what they entail? This workshop could be just what you need (to raise your awareness of research data management)!
Learning objectives:
This workshop provides a practical introduction to creating data management plans with RDMO. Participants will learn why such plans are important in research and funding contexts, what they should cover and how RDMO can support their preparation. During the practical session, participants will work with RDMO to gain hands-on experience in developing a data management plan for their own project or a sample case.
A DFN-Login will be helpful, if you would like to try out the RMU-RDMO yourself.
Speakers:
Dr. Beate Ulrike La Sala was a research associate at Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen, the University of Potsdam, Freie Universität Berlin, and at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Since 2024, she has been a research data consultant at Goethe University Frankfurt.
Sarah Wettermann, a BSc in Mathematics and (Astro)physics in London, followed by a degree in Computer Science and Natural Sciences and a PhD in Physics, which is nearing completion. Currently, her focus is on RDMO and long-term archiving of research data at JGU Mainz.
Target group: Early Career Researchers (R1, R2, R3) from TU Darmstadt, JGU Mainz and GU Frankfurt.
