This workshop offers an introduction to the principles and practices of research data management (RDM). It provides an overview of how research data can be organized, documented, stored, and shared throughout the research lifecycle. Participants will become familiar with key concepts such as data management plans, metadata, and FAIR data principles. The session is open to anyone who would like to familiarize themselves with the basics of structured and sustainable research data management.

Workshop Series Winter Semester 2026/27
This workshop series introduces key areas of digital research, including Research Data Management, Digital Humanities, Open Access, and Open Science. It focuses on digital methods, AI-supported research, and Open-Access publishing. Workshops are held either in English or German language, as indicated in the programme.
