As the Rhine-Main Universities we have reached a major milestone in our journey within the Excellence Strategy of the German federal and state governments. Over the past few days, members of our alliance brought our vision “RMU-EXCITE – Excellent. Collaborative. Transformative.” to life and engaged in dialogue with an international review panel.
With RMU-EXCITE, we aim to further strengthen the impact of our alliance — as a pioneer of groundbreaking research, a magnet for talent from around the world, and a driving force for collaboratively shaping major societal transformations.
On behalf of the entire RMU Board of Directors, RMU spokesperson Prof. Tanja Brühl expressed her sincere thanks to all RMU colleagues who contributed with remarkable dedication to the preparation and realization of the on-site visit, and who made the RMU spirit tangible during the kick-off event. She also extended her gratitude to the many partners from academia, industry, society, and politics whose strong support was reflected in their participation.
Now, as we await the funding decision, we’re keeping our fingers crossed for RMU-EXCITE!
