Device Description
The ARBURG freeformer is an industrial additive manufacturing system for processing standard plastic granules using ARBURG Plastic Freeforming (APF). Unlike conventional 3D printers, the freeformer operates without filament, enabling greater material flexibility and lower costs. The system features integrated process monitoring and is suitable for serial production.
Device Application
The machine processes thermoplastic and thermosetting plastics precisely, layer by layer, even for functional parts with high mechanical strength. It is particularly well suited for medical technology, the automotive industry, and research.
