Automated Sieving Station

Device Description

The Assonic sieve station is an automated ultrasonic sieving system for the preparation and classification of metal powders used in additive manufacturing. It effectively separates particle sizes according to defined sieve curves and removes coarse or contaminated fractions. Ultrasonic resonators keep the sieve clean and free from clogging.

Device Application

The system is suitable both for recycling used powders and for qualifying new batches. The station supports quality management in AM processes and improves powder efficiency and consistency — particularly for sensitive materials such as titanium or nickel-based alloys.
