Device Description
The 700 MHz NMR spectrometer uses a 5 mm QCI cryo 1H [13C, 15N, 31P] with Z-GRD and has five independent frequency channels.
Device Application
In addition to standard protein and RNA experiments for mapping and dynamics in biomacromolecules, the spectrometer is used for phosphorus correlation experiments, which are particularly important for NMR on RNA. Furthermore, it is possible to guide an optical fiber directly into the magnet and couple it with a laser. In this way, light-induced kinetics can be measured. The system is used exclusively for liquid NMR.
