Device Description
The 1.2 GHz NMR spectrometer (28T) is currently the highest commercially available device. For liquid NMR, measurements are taken on a 3 mm or 5 mm TCI cryo 1H [13C, 15N] with Z-GRD. For solid-state NMR, a 0.7 mm MAS 1H, 15N, 13C is used. The device has four independent frequency channels.
Device Application
Applications of high-field NMR include detailed structural and dynamic analyses of large or complex biomolecules such as proteins, membrane proteins, RNA, and RNA-protein complexes, achieving higher sensitivity and resolution for the investigation of these challenging samples. The system is used for both liquid NMR and solid-state NMR.
