Device Description

The EOS M 290 is an industrial metal 3D printer based on the Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF) process. Key specifications and features: Build volume: 250 × 250 × 325 mm³; Laser: 400 W fiber laser (Yb-fiber), focus diameter approx. 100 µm; Scan speed: up to approx. 7 m/s; Supported materials: wide range including aluminum, titanium, stainless and superalloys, tool steel, precipitation-hardening steel, etc.; Designed for industrial serial production: robust system design, quality assurance via integrated monitoring (e.g., EOSTATE monitoring)
