Device Description
High-resolution mass spectrometer with EI and CI ion sources, coupled with a GC. For higher-boiling compounds, can be used with a DIP (Direct Insertion Probe) or a DEP (Direct Exposure Probe) for direct sample introduction into the source via a push rod.

Identity confirmation of compounds that tend to be nonpolar, synthesis products from organic and organometallic chemistry. Purity determination and/or quantification possible using GC-EI.
