Goethe Run 2026: Sign up for the RMU Team now!

On Wednesday, 26 August 2026, starting at 5:00 p.m., the Goethe Run for RMU employees will take place on the Ginnheim Campus. For the first time ever, an RMU team will be at the starting line this year. Sign up now!
The race is 5.8 km long and connects Campus Ginnheim and Campus Westend. This year, you can also choose to run an extended version of 11.6 km.
The kids‘ race will start at 5:00 p.m. At around 5:45 p.m., Prof. Dr. Enrico Schleiff, the president of Goethe University, will welcome all runners. After a joint warm-up, the gun will go off at 6:00 p.m.. After the race, music, food, and drinks will await the runners at the Sportcampus in Ginnheim.
Around 8:00 p.m., the fastest runner as well as the largest and the fastest team and the team with the best/most creative shirt will be honored. Afterwards, you can look forward to an entertaining program featuring various acts from university sports.

If you are among the first 50 RMU members to register, you won't have to pay the 15-euro entry fee, and you will also receive a free RMU running shirt! The next 20 runners who register for the RMU team after the first 50 will also receive a free RMU running shirt and only have to pay the entry fee yourself.
