Device Description
The RESOlution-LR is a 193 nm excimer laser ablation system equipped with a Laurin Technic sample cell and GeoStar μGISTM software.
Device Application
The Resonetics LR laser system, coupled with ICP-MS, is used for high-precision trace element and isotope analysis of solids. The area of application includes the low-destructive or destructive analysis of materials such as metals (gold, silver, copper, iron), minerals, and rocks. This method enables quantitative trace element (Li to U) and isotope analysis of minerals and rocks for dating and determining geochemical processes.
