Interdisciplinary and international: The Research Training Group “Standards of Governance”
In the Research Training Group “Standards of Governance” of Technical University of Darmstadt and Goethe University Frankfurt, researchers are concerned with ideas and practices for which the term “good governance” has become established.
The interdisciplinary research initiative, which has been funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) since 2023, combines perspectives from political science, sociology, philosophy and law.
In our video interview, speaker Professor Jens Steffek of Technical University of Darmstadt and deputy speaker Professor Sandra Seubert of Goethe University Frankfurt explain what standards of good governance actually are, why the research team is so unique and what successes have already been achieved during the current funding period.
In an additional interview as part of the midterm conference, Professor Steffek also gave a positive assessment of the work done by the RTG so far. Click here or on the link on the right to read the full interview.
